This year there will be a real shift in how private landlords buy property - especially the types of property they look to secure," says Adam Male, co-founder of the property website Urban.co.uk. "Refurbishment properties have been a less attractive option since purpose built apartments, which demand less time, started springing up in our towns and cities.
