The cost of living is rising, and worries about rental rates are a real consideration when househunting – but should you be worried about the price of diesel too?
House hunters in Bristol should possibly start to add it to their list of concerns, following a rather peculiar posting on Gumtree this week!
An advert appeared offering a van to rent as a home, for a snip at £220 a month. The van, a standard LDV Convoy Minibus, had undergone a transformation to allow for ‘winter living’ and boasted a fire burner, cooker, oven, sink, tap, double bed and kitchen table.
The advert leaves you with plenty of unanswered questions - is there a CO monitor in place? Do you purchase the Tardis renovation pack at Halfords or B&Q?
According to the advert, the van – which is available from November 1st - is currently parked on the High Street in Easton area of Bristol, however presumably if this is not to your liking, the neighbourhood is negotiable… and they say house hunting is all about location, location, location!
