Risqué renter slapped with a fine for saucy snaps

A Yeovil-based landlord has been receiving some not-very-festive gifts from his tenant - but has finally seen justice served, after the risqué renter was hit with a £500 fine by magistrates.

The fine came after the tenant was found guilty of sending indecent pictures of himself to his unsuspecting landlord when drunk, via his mobile phone… on numerous occasions!

The first time this happened, the tenant pleaded that he had ‘drunk dialled’, and that he had meant to send the saucy shots to his girlfriend. His red-faced landlord accepted his apology and no more was said.

However, six months later when more images were sent, the shocked landlord put his foot down and involved the police. The tenant was traced, and charged.

Prosecutor Julyan Stephens said that the landlord had found the images “extremely
offensive”, however recounts that the tenant could not remember anything about
the offence and was drunk when he was with some friends and had been ‘fooling
around'.

He (the tenant) said he had very little recollection of sending the messages, but does admit sending them after finding the number on an advert for a room to rent.
