Landlord triumphant in £60k drugs bust

An Aberdeen-based landlord found a LOT more than he bargained for during an inspection at one of his properties.

Following an email from concerned neighbours who were worried about the strong smell of cannabis coming from the property, the plucky landlord decided to undertake a review to see if he could uncover anything out of the ordinary.

Seems that the neighbours gut instincts, and keen noses, were correct, and the landlord uncovered aa haul of cannabis, heroin and cocaine with a street value of more than £60,000, along with £18,000 worth of cash!

The tenant, Luke Marshall, had hidden drugs inside the plumbing works in the toilet, as well as wraps of drugs around the property. Marshall, 23, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, and pleaded guilty to the supply of cocaine and heroin. He is awaiting sentencing.
