Coronavirus Advice for Landlords and Tenants

Coronavirus is an unknown to us all, and there is a huge amount of changes to understand, and questions needing answering as we work through these challenging weeks ahead.

As a nation we are all working through a scary and unprecedented time at the moment.

Coronavirus is an unknown to us all, and there is a huge amount of changes to understand, and questions needing answering as we work through these challenging weeks ahead.

Your team here at Urban.co.uk, along with colleagues at Howsy and Upad, are continuing to keep a close eye on the ever-changing recommendations from the government, and work hard to ensure that we are able to provide the very best service to our landlords and tenants as the situation changes day-by-day.

We have created a guidance document for landlords and tenants, which is kept up to date as new information becomes available.

Protect yourself

Most importantly, make sure you are keeping up to date with government advice. Washing hands, staying at home, social distancing – all things that you’ve seen in the news that are important changes for all of us.

Protect others

The edict from the government on 23rd March is very, very clear; Stay at home, save lives.

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • If you or anyone in your household are showing any symptoms of coronavirus, then you must self-isolate yourself immediately for the protection of those who are most vulnerable. This is incumbent on all of us to get through this together.

Our thoughts are with you and your families at this difficult time. Please stay safe and look after each other.
