A landlord who found themselves on the receiving end a truly tricky tenant can breathe a sigh of relief this week, as he receives notification that the troublesome customer is due to receive court sentencing.
Upon being asked to vacate the property that she shared with landlord Ovace Miller, tenant Dalina Pop vented her fury on Miller’s white BMW which was parked outside.
She spray-painted offensive comments, such as ‘racist’, ‘Arab’ and ‘no means no’, across the vehicle, leaving Miller with a £17,000 respray bill to restore the car and remove the obscenities.
Pop voluntarily presented herself at Charing Cross police station four days after the incident, where she was cleared of racially aggravated criminal damage, however admitted charges of criminal damage. Sentencing was adjourned until November 20 to allow Ms Pop, a theatre student, to return to university in New York.
